We can hand-letter the ID tag for you for free with your cat's identification information, OR you may take it to your favorite jeweler to be engraved. Either way, you can have the peace of mind that your little guy and gal can always find their way home if lost.

6. Can I use my cat's current tags with her KBA cat collar?

Probably not. The KBA cat collar is designed for our mini heart ID tags and to be light weight and bulk free. There is only enough room on the mini tag holder for one mini heart ID tag. This is not a dog collar and you will want to plan on using the mini heart, cat ID tag that comes with your collar. If you want, you can request that your tag be left blank so you can take it to a jeweler and make it extra special to fit your needs. You can purchase an additional back-up tag for your collar with no additional shipping costs.

7. My cat came home and her tag was missing from her collar. Are the mini heart tags suppose to come off?

KBA cat collars are designed for your cat's best interest and safety. Remember cats are predators to some but prey to others. If your cat's tag gets caught on something. and your cat needs to make a quick exit -- that tag needs to be left behind, or the cat needs to be able to slip his/her head out of that collar and run. If you still feel a missing ID tag could be a problem, you have several options. 1. you could purchase an extra back-up mini heart ID tag with your order. 2. You could purchase a very tiny kitten tag with your order, which is so small it would probably never get stuck on anything. 3. As last resort, you could use a thin indellible black marker and write your cat's phone # on the underside of the collar for back up.
